Biography
Daria Torres is a seasoned strategist, board advisor, and award-winning educator with more than 20 years of global, cross-sector executive experience. She is the Founder and Managing Partner of Walls Torres Group, where she advises leadership teams and boards on complex strategic challenges, governance, and transformational growth. Her clients include Fortune 500 corporations, technology innovators, academic institutions, and philanthropic organizations worldwide.
Daria began her career at McKinsey & Company and previously served as a Lockheed Martin systems engineer, bringing deep analytical rigor and technical insight to her work. She is known for integrating strategy, technology, and risk management, with expertise in digital transformation, AI governance, cyber and information security, and highly regulated industries.
A respected board leader, Daria serves on the board of Columbia Financial (NASDAQ: CLBK) and Columbia Bank and is among the earliest NACD Certified Directors in the nation. She is a highly rated faculty member with teaching roles at CMU Tepper Executive Education, The Wharton School, Drexel University, and Rutgers University.
Daria holds a BS in Systems Engineering with a double major in Economics from the University of Virginia, an MS in Systems Engineering with a specialization in Telecommunications from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from The Wharton School, where she was an I.W. Burnham Fellow and earned Director’s List distinction.
