“I would not have my job, nor the vast network of classmates, faculty, and alumni who would vouch for me without pursuing my MSBA. I received the offer for my current role from a recruiter recognizing my name in a resume book that had been sent out by the Tepper School Masters Career Center after having made an impression on her at a Carnegie Mellon career fair. Additionally, from a personal perspective, I am exponentially more confident in myself and my abilities after having achieved a master’s degree at a world-renowned institution, in a subject matter that was predominantly new to me.”
“I wanted a role that offered intellectual challenge, meaningful impact, and cross-functional collaboration. That’s exactly what I found, and I credit the MSBA program for helping me uncover and prepare for this path. It’s a role that not only leverages my technical skills—like SQL, Tableau, and Python—but also demands strategic thinking and stakeholder communication.
