Understanding the Consequences of a Decision with Predictive Analytics
Discuss how predictive analytics models, from statistics and machine
learning to artificial intelligence, can be used for business applications
ranging from marketing to operations; various methods will be discussed
including regression models, decision trees, and neural networks.

Analytics Case Team Exercise
Participants will apply previously discussed analytics tools to a problem case,
including choosing the best model and measuring its impact.
MORNING
Optimizing Decision Problems Using Prescriptive Analytics
Explore how prescriptive analytics models based on mathematical optimization can solve large-scale decision problems optimally and learn how these tools can be used for strategic, tactical, and/or operational decision making.

Participants will apply previously discussed analytics models to a problem
case, with a specific focus on strategic, tactical, and/or operational use.

Industry Expert Guest Lecture on Analytics in the Enterprise
Discussion of common pitfalls, organizational issues, and the role of the analytics team, with emphasis on the decision process structure of the organization.
Analytics Case Team Presentation
Participants will present findings of the exercises developed throughout the program.
Wrap Up
Participants will identify concrete steps for applying key concepts, tools, and frameworks to develop a data analytics strategy in their own organizations.
